FactFinders Investigations operates as a Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA) under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq., when providing consumer reports for employment, tenant screening, or other permissible purposes.
Consumer reports may only be obtained and used for permissible purposes as defined under 15 U.S.C. § 1681b, including employment purposes, credit transactions, insurance underwriting, and other legally authorized uses. Clients must certify their permissible purpose prior to receiving any consumer report.
